Keeping an active Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform can be hard. In the first part of this article, we've given you three tips for this problem. In this article, we'll provide you with another three tips for your Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform.

4. Map out your supporters
If you want to help current and future supporters on your Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform, it could be useful to map out a so-called 'supporter journey'. This journey generalises every step your supporter takes: before he becomes a supporter, during the fundraiser and after the fundraiser. Write down his challenges and most significant milestones. You can also follow the path he follows on your website and which email he receives.

If you've mapped out the path, you can determine if you want to clarify or simplify the journey. Maybe you have to use another call to action in an email or perhaps your potential supporter receives too many emails. This method also helps you determine when it's time to send a tips & tricks email.

The 'supporter journey' can be part of a more extensive journey which can also include donors and volunteers.

5. Turn supporters into volunteers
Someone who has helped your organisation before gives a clear signal that they have a passion for your organisation's goal. That's why this group is a big pool of potential fundraisers. Because they know your purpose so well, they can explain even better why they are supporting your cause and why people should raise money. They also have an existing relationship with your organisation which lowers the threshold to start an online fundraiser.

6. Stimulate fundraising teams
What's more fun than raising money together for a charity? Our experience is that teams are very enthusiastic about starting a fundraiser. A team with a passionate team captain can keep themselves motivated. A Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform is the right place for school and company teams to start a fundraiser. You can also set up a fundraiser that other people can join to help supporters who find it hard to come up with a fundraising idea.
